Broiler

(2005)

Broiler is a one-person show about a little chicken, a demonstration of how an individual sidesteps the truth in every situation. In fact, the only thing that seems honest about this fellow is the broiler chicken he is preparing for the audience to eat. There is a reality underlying the façade, however, a very difficult one. As bits of it emerge, things become more intimate, perhaps even uncomfortable — kind of like the truth.

Broiler

Written and performed by James Long and directed by Craig Hall, with lighting design by Itai Erdal and sound design by Noah Drew, Broiler was presented as part of Rumble Production’s Young & The Restless Series.
